Examination methods
Audiometry
Examination of the auditory nerve and hearing threshold. You listen to tones and speech of different volumes through headphones and respond by pressing a button. The result shows whether and how much your hearing is impaired. We also perform speech audiometry and calculate the hearing loss as a percentage.
Tympanometry
We have one of the most modern clinical tympanometers. A small probe in the ear measures the mobility of the eardrum as pressure changes. It reveals the cause of blocked ears, infection, tinnitus, fluid in the middle ear or problems with the Eustachian tube.
Otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
A quick and completely painless test of inner ear function. A small "earphone" with quiet sounds is placed in the ear – no cooperation is needed, so it is suitable mainly for newborns and small children, but also for adults.
Examination of the facial nerve and middle ear
Tympanometric examination also helps in diagnosing diseases of the eardrum, middle ear and facial nerve.
Hearing tests after the age of fifty
New from 1 January 2027
According to a methodological guideline of the Ministry of Health, from 1 January 2027 hearing will be checked during preventive check-ups for adults over 50. If your GP refers you for pure-tone audiometry, you are welcome to come to us. The examination is covered by health insurance.
Hearing loss after fifty is common and creeps in unnoticed. Left untreated, it leads to listening fatigue, poorer communication and withdrawal from social life. We are good at treating hearing loss that is detected early.

Work in a noisy environment
We perform complete hearing tests for employees working in a noisy environment (risk occupations as defined by the regulation) – pre-employment, periodic and exit check-ups. For employers we provide occupational health services.
Do you work in noise, or does noise bother you? You can come for a hearing test on your own initiative – even if your workplace does not fall into a noise risk category. We will measure your hearing and can also make custom hearing protection.
Hearing tests for children
We test hearing even in the youngest, always painlessly. Newborns have a quick otoacoustic emissions (OAE) test, five-year-olds a hearing screening according to the Ministry of Health guideline.
Booking in advance
Booking is not required, but we recommend it. A hearing test takes longer than a standard appointment, so it is best to arrange a specific day and time.
